This is the first NASCAR Sprint Cup event to be held in the now bankrupt Golden State.

Head to Fontana, California for the Pepsi 500 this year. I heard some rumors on the internet that this was supposed to be a carbon-neutral event, but that didn’t materialize. So guzzle another while you watch stockcars race in a circle and revel in America’s superiority upon witnessing scenes like this:
